Functionality of Aquacultural Techniques in Delta State, Nigeria: Adoption Approaches

Appropriate adoption techniques in aquaculture contribute to food security. The study appraised the functionality of aquacultural Oshimili South Local Government Area Delta State, Nigeria using approaches. objectives were ascertain level management techniques, examine pond types adoption, assess fish farmers’ technological needs and identify constraints affecting adoption. Again, majority (88%) over plastic (79%), concrete (71%) wooden (59%). (90.2%) indicated integrated their prioritized need (80.5%) pointed out feed cost most serious constraint (mean 3.06). It concluded there rate area. is recommended visits should be monthly training on formulation among others needed.
